Biography
Kim is an Associate at Sutherland Law in civil and commercial litigation. Her practice primarily focuses on breach of contract claims, fraud, bankruptcy and insolvency, shareholder disputes, and estates law.
Prior to joining Sutherland Law, Kim’s experience spanned abroad range of areas. She articled at a boutique law firm in midtown Toronto where she built a foundation for civil litigation and wills and estates. She also has experience in regulatory compliance, privacy law, insurance law, and intellectual property.
Kim received her law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School, where she served on the executive teams of the Osgoode Business Law Society and Osgoode Entertainment & Sports Law Association, was a Clinic Fellow at the IP Innovation Clinic, and a mentor for the Osgoode Women’s Network. She volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada (PBSC), the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers (FACL), and Artists’ Legal Advice Services (ALAS).
Outside of work, Kim enjoys seeking out matcha spots, graphic designing, spending time with her dog, and hitting 10k steps a day.
