Biography
Hussam received his Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School. During law school, he served as a student caseworker in the Venture Capital Clinical Program, where he provided legal support to early-stage technology companies on corporate and commercial matters. He also participated in several advocacy, negotiation, and arbitration competitions, advancing to the semi-finals and receiving recognition in moot competitions.
Hussam completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at the University of Waterloo. Before entering the legal profession, he worked as a finance professional in Toronto, focusing on capital markets and risk management, where he helped financial institutions optimize performance while managing financial risk.
Before joining the firm, Hussam completed his Articles with a regional law firm in Guelph. In that role, he gained substantial experience in civil litigation, land use planning, and municipal law.
Outside of his legal practice, Hussam enjoys weightlifting, playing ping pong, and cooking.
