Ajvi Sarja

Ajvi is an Associate at Sutherland Law whose practice is primarily focused on complex civil and commercial litigation matters. In keeping with the firm’s recognition of the interconnectedness of legal domains, Ajvi’s distinctive caseload includes loan and contract enforcement, fraud matters, and secured transaction enforcement.

Ajvi is well versed in drafting a wide variety of legal documents and conducting legal research on multiple practice areas ranging from Civil Litigation, Corporate Law, Bankruptcy Law, and Criminal Law. Ajvi has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and Small Claims Court.

Ajvi graduated with an Honours Bilingual Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from York University, where he completed his studies in English and French. He went on to achieve his Juris Doctor degree from the Queen’s University Faculty of Law. While attending law school, Ajvi was a student caseworker for the Queen’s Business Law Clinic, where he provided pro bono legal services to local businesses and non-profits. Ajvi was also Vice-President of the Queen’s Law Alternative Dispute Resolution Club.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Ajvi enjoys travelling, physical exercise, spending time with friends and family, and reading. Ajvi is a proud member of the Albanian Canadian Lawyers’ Association.
